and victuals/are available at, or near, docks or jetties where
vessels can tie up alongside to take these supplies on board, or
facilities for bringing them to yachts at anchor exist and, in the case of
cooking gas where you can go, or to whom you can apply, to get butane and/or propane.

once you are far from your home grounds, which may not be easily found but which, with a little help from our friends we might unearth, for a rare moment of delight.
We are working on a format for the collection of this information on
forms which you can fill in and submit to our database at the click of a
button, whenever and wherever you find facilities in your travels. Perhaps
you have some ideas for the questions we should include? We can all help each other save valuable time
and money (and sometimes avoid
unnecessary discomfort) on arrival in new places. This is another of those
sections where it is no good waiting for everyone else to supply the
information before adding yours - put yours in and others will surely
follow suit - if you can supply information including where these
resources are to be found, business hours, prices last time you looked and
when that was and any other relevant details, you will be helping fellow
sailors and, with luck you will soon find details for a place you plan to
visit appearing here, sent in by someone else who hasn't forgotten the
principles of mutual back-scratching...
