If you are a member of a sailing school, we'd love to hear from you. If you run a sailing school, tell our readers about your courses and activities, recount some of your more memorable experiences... anything...everything!

Their courses include:

Basic Keelboat Sailing (101)
Learn to sail! The Basic Sailing Class is designed to get the new sailor off on the right track. You will learn basic sailing through a proven combination of classroom and on-the-water instruction. This class is fun as well as educational, with particular emphasis on the needs of the individual student.

The following courses are custom scheduled to meet the needs of the student:
Basic Coastal Cruising (103)
Cruising Class opens up a new sailing opportunity. You will be able to cruise safely in coastal waters as both skipper and crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat of about 35 feet in length. Areas of instruction include Safety, Rules of the Road, Weather, Seamanship, Gear and Equipment, and the Duties of Skipper and Crew. This class is designed to give you the self confidence to begin a cruising adventure with the knowledge that comes from experience.
Cost includes all instructional material and certification. Group Discounts (see their website for details) 
They arrange BCC classes on a demand basis.

Bareboat Chartering (104)
The Bareboat Chartering Class is designed to give the Coastal Cruiser the information and skills to sail a 30 to 50 foot auxiliary sailboat on a Bareboat Charter.
Some of the areas covered in this class are Planning the Cruise, Living Afloat, Weather, Seamanship, Navigation and Knowledge of Boat Systems and Maintenance. ASA Bareboat Certification will assure that your next Bareboat vacation will be the adventure you deserve.
Cost includes all instructional material, certification, 2 nights accommodations, and 5 meals. Group Discounts (see their website for details) 

Advanced Coastal Cruising (106)
This course requires that the student has successfully completed Basic Keelboat Sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering and Coastal Navigation Certification.
You will be able to safely act as skipper and crew of a sailing vessel about 30 to 50 feet in length. This is a day and nighttime standard in coastal and inland water, in any weather.
Cost includes all instructional material, certification, 2 nights accommodations, and 5 meals (see their website for details) 

Coastal Navigation (105)
Students will be able to demonstrate the navigational theory required to safely navigate a sailing vessel in coastal or inland waters.

Celestial Navigation (107)
Students will be able to demonstrate the Celestial Navigation theory required to safely navigate a sailboat on an offshore passage.

Captain Charley is a retired Navy Commander who has sailed all over the world and has provided sailing, navigation and Captain's training from beginners to professional mariners. 
He and his wife, Sandra, have cruised up and down the east coast and the Bahamas.
The Weavers are, themselves, graduates of sailing schools.
They firmly believe that the best way is through an accredited school with certified instructors and that real sailing enjoyment comes from knowing how to sail well and having confidence in yourself, your boat, equipment and crew.
