When
you drop your anchor in our neighbourhood, we'll be here waiting to
quench your thirst with a special punch or whatever takes your
fancy.
If an ice-cold thirst-quencher is what you yearn for, you may like to try one of
our local brews, like Biere Lorraine, created especially for the tropics.
As we're right on the beach you can lounge in the shade of our
awnings between swims or sunbathing sessions.
 You'll
probably meet anyone whose yacht you recognised in the bay, doing
likewise!
We like to surround our guests with pleasant sights and sounds and,
often, we find our guests doing the same for us .
Our guest book is full
of drawings, paintings and interesting prose from visitors who have come
from all over the world to enjoy our hospitality.
 At
weekends there's live music just next door.
If you fancy a fishing trip, we have a little boat
too and are happy to arrange trips for guests who would like to do a
little coastal sight-seeing and perhaps come home with supper!
The picture on the left is the impression 'Le Fromager' as it is called made on a
guest. On the right is the boat itself, anchored right in front of the
bar.
Finding us is easy: just walk up to the road from the dinghy dock, turn
right, walk about 100 metres, turn right through the gates leading
to the beach, turn left and wander down the beach a short way - you'll
see Bar José - it's the one that's most
popular with the sunbathers.
You can enjoy your drink at one of
our tables or wander on to the beach with it.
Don't forget...when you drop the anchor at Grande Anse d'Arlets in
Martinique, we'll be here waiting for you with that warm hospitality and
a cool, cool drink...
