Welcome To The Twitterhood!

Looking for people who share your interests to follow?

Visit the zones that interest you - Save time! Meet people who have something in common with you!

Want to be followed by people who share your interests?

Take a space in one or more Twitterhood Zones! This is THE place to be!

What's a Zone?

In an ordinary directory, a zone would be called a 'category' This is, of course, no ordinary directory!

How To Get Around The Twitterhood

Use the listing to the left on every page to see all the zones and click on any topic to visit the relevant zone.

Clicking on any avatar in a zone opens a new window or tab with the Twitter profile in it. Linked names beneath avatars lead to a website or blog, also in a new window or tab.

Choose the zone you want to be found in and then click on Join In! Click Here at the top of the page (or on any of the squares with This Could Be You! on them within any zone) to arrange inclusion.

What is the difference between this and any other directory apart from the fact that everyone here is followed by @linnetwoods and will only be included if she approves of them?

New neighbours, and neighbors, on the Twitterhood website don't push previous entries out of sight, nor are people categorized by their number of followers or any other criteria. If a zone is full and more people wish to be included in it, new zones are created to make space for them. Everything is done manually.

Why the North, South, East and West arrows?

Mainly to help you feel that you're in a 2-dimensional space - a virtual Twitterhood - and to help me organize the zones - there's no difference in status or rank between any of the compass points, the zones within them or the spaces within the zones!

Be Included Now!
